Halloween is Sat 31 Oct. Black Park's trail is free to book, Copas at Iver has pick-your-own pumpkins at £4 entry, and Legoland's Brick or Treat opens 10 Oct.
Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October, the last day of Slough’s half term (26 to 30 October). Slough itself has no council Halloween event. What families actually do is just outside the borough: a free trail at Black Park, pick-your-own pumpkins at Iver, and Legoland’s Brick or Treat in Windsor. Everything below is from the organisers’ own pages, checked on 3 October.
The quick answer
- Free: the Black Park Halloween Trail, Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November. Book a free ticket first; parking costs from £4.60.
- Pumpkins: Copas Fruit Fields at Iver, October weekends and every day from 23 to 31 October. £4 entry, then £1.20 a kilo for what you pick.
- The big day out: Legoland’s Brick or Treat, 10 and 11 October and every day from 17 October to 1 November, from £37 a person online.
- Farm: Odds Farm Park’s Pumpkin Festival, October weekends and daily in half term, with a free pumpkin for each paying child. Its evening Family Nights have sold out.
The Black Park Halloween Trail
Buckinghamshire Council’s country parks team runs a self-led trail through the woods at Black Park from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. Time slots run 10am to 3pm at weekends and 9am to 3pm on weekdays. It is free, but everyone needs a ticket: the council limits numbers through each day so the car park copes, and the booking is how you get arrival instructions. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome (Buckinghamshire Country Parks, Eventbrite listing).
Parking is not free. Black Park charges £4.60 for up to two hours, £5.50 for up to four and £6.70 for longer, paid by RingGo, PayByPhone or JustPark. Blue Badge holders park free (Buckinghamshire Country Parks, parking). The park is on Black Park Road, Wexham, SL3 6DS (Black Park).
The same team runs a Kids Go Wild Halloween Camp at Black Park, a forest school session for ages 1 to 10 with potion-making, a hunt for hidden Halloween characters, a craft to take home and apple bites by the fire. Every child needs a ticket and must stay with an adult. The listing says “multiple dates” but does not print them or the price on the page; both are in the booking panel (Kids Go Wild Halloween Camp).
Pick-your-own pumpkins
Copas Fruit Fields, Iver (SL0 0LU). The nearer of Copas Farms’ two pick-your-own farms. Pumpkin picking is open on 3 and 4, 10 and 11, 17 and 18 October, then every day from 23 to 31 October, from 10am. Tickets are £4 a person for adults and children aged 2 and over, and Copas is clear that this is an entry ticket with no value against what you buy. Pumpkins are £1.20 a kilo; small squashes £1.50 each and larger ones £1.95 a kilo. A wheelbarrow and the maize maze are included. You pick a branch, date and time when you book and cannot change it, and there are no dogs except guide dogs. The Iver message line is 01753 652727 (Copas Farms, The Fruit Fields).
Copas Fruit Fields, Cookham (SL6 9RF) runs on the same dates and prices. Its line is 01628 529511.
Brick or Treat at Legoland
Legoland Windsor’s Halloween event runs on 10 and 11 October, then every day from 17 October to 1 November. The park lists a Haunted House Monster Party, Lord Vampyre’s House Party show, the Monster Jam show, a disco on The Dragon, character meet and greets and themed photo spots, with the usual rides open. Online tickets start at £37 a person. Costumes are encouraged, but full face masks and imitation weapons are not allowed (LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Brick or Treat). The resort is on Winkfield Road, Windsor, SL4 4AY, and parking is sold separately.
Odds Farm Park Pumpkin Festival
Odds Farm Park at Wooburn Common, near High Wycombe (HP10 0LX), splits its Pumpkin Festival in three:
- Pumpkin Weekends, every Saturday and Sunday in October: the pumpkin patch with a free pumpkin for each paying child, carving stations and the usual farm activities.
- October Half Term, 24 October to 1 November: a daily character show, Monster Mash Bash, in the Show Barn, and outdoor Bubbleology displays, plus the free pumpkin.
- Pumpkin Family Nights, 10 and 24 October: sold out.
The free pumpkin is a small one, while stocks last, and the patch is weather permitting (Odds Farm Park, Pumpkin Festival). The page does not list prices; admission is booked through the farm’s own ticket page.
Indoors in Slough
The Curve on William Street has no Halloween show, but its three half-term children’s shows (28, 29 and 30 October, £10 or £8 for under-16s) and the rest of the week are on our October half term page, with the school dates that differ from the council’s.
Getting there and parking
Every event on this page is outside the borough, so most people drive. Before you set off, check Slough roadworks and travel for closures on the way out. If you are parking in town first, charges and the RingGo rule for free sessions are on our parking in Slough page.
Still to be confirmed
- Kids Go Wild Halloween Camp dates and prices, which are only in the Eventbrite booking panel.
- Odds Farm Park admission prices for the Pumpkin Festival, which are not printed on the festival page.
- Any Slough trick or treat trail or town centre event. Neither the council’s events calendar nor Slough BID’s lists anything for Halloween as at 3 October. We will add one if it appears.
For bonfire night the week after, see Slough fireworks.
