The Curve's Christmas show is Twinkle Twinkle, six performances from 21 to 23 December, tickets £10 and £8, with a four-for-£28 early bird until 20 September.

Slough has no traditional pantomime. What it has is one Christmas show at the Curve: Twinkle Twinkle, six performances across Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December 2026, at 11am and 1pm each day. Tickets are £10, or £8 for under-16s, and there is a four-person deal at £28 if you book before Sunday 20 September.

For a full-scale panto with a dame and a beanstalk, the nearest is Windsor, and that one opens a month earlier.

Twinkle Twinkle at the Curve: everything confirmed

The show is by The Last Baguette, the company that brought A Winter’s Tail to Norden Farm in 2025. It is billed as a nocturnal journey for early years, based on Jane Taylor’s 1806 poem The Star, with original music, puppetry and a cast of woodland animals gathering to mark the solstice.

  • Dates and times: Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 December 2026, 11am and 1pm on each of the three days. Six performances in total.
  • Running time: 50 minutes, including a 10 minute stay and play session at the end.
  • Age guidance: 2 to 6 years, with older and younger siblings welcome.
  • Tickets: £10 standard, £8 under-16s, £32 for a Family and Friends ticket covering four people.
  • Early bird: the same four-person ticket is £28 until Sunday 20 September.
  • Booking fee: £1.90 on every transaction.
  • Venue: the Curve, William Street, Slough SL1 1XY.

Two practical points the listing does not spell out. There is no evening performance, so this is a daytime outing on the first three days of the school holidays. And no relaxed or signed performance is flagged for the Slough run, where the Norden Farm run of the same show is also listed without one.

The same show runs longer at Norden Farm, and costs more

The Curve is managed by Storyden Ltd, whose registered office is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead, and the two venues share a ticketing system. Twinkle Twinkle is the Norden Farm Christmas production as well, in its Studio, running Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 December and Tuesday 29 December to Saturday 2 January.

Prices there are higher: £14, £12 for under-16s, £48 for four. Children over six months need their own ticket. If the Slough dates do not suit, that is the same production over a much longer run, a short drive west along the A4. (Curve Venue)

The nearest full pantomime: Theatre Royal Windsor

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the Theatre Royal Windsor from Friday 20 November 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027, tickets from £19.50, with Kevin Cruise and Steven Blakeley returning, Hilary O’Neil as the Fairy, Anton Stephans as Fleshcreep, Jay Worley as Jack, Jeffrey Harmer as the King and Abi Lily Clarke as Jill. Running time is still marked TBC. The production carries haze and flashing lights. (Theatre Royal Windsor)

Family tickets are £85.50 for three including one child and £110 for four including two children, and schools and youth groups pay £15.50 a head with an eleventh ticket free on ten. Those three prices can only be booked by phone, on 01753 853888. (Theatre Royal Windsor, pricing details)

The shuttle train from Slough to Windsor and Eton Central puts you a few minutes’ walk from the Theatre Royal, which matters on an evening when Windsor’s car parks fill.

What else the Curve has in December

The Curve’s own programme for the festive weeks is thin beyond the Christmas show. Slough On The Mic, its spoken word night, has a date on Friday 18 December, and there is a further one on 20 November. (Curve Venue)

Getting there and parking
